Online Satellites for 2024 WSOP Main Event Kick Off for NJ/NV, PA & MI Players

If you haven’t signed up to WSOP.com yet in either Nevada/New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Michigan, now is the time to do so. Throughout every weekend in February, the online platform is giving players the chance to win their way to the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event through online satellites that feature buy-ins of $215 and $320.

Two satellites will run each weekend for those in NJ/NV player pool while one qualifier will be available to players in MI and PA. Those who come out on top in the satellites will receive $10,000 worth of tournament buy-in chips for the 2024 WSOP, which can be used to take part in the Main Event or any other bracelet of their choice.

When Do the Satellites Take Place?

NV/NJ players will get two bites of the apple with a satellite event running on both Saturday and Sunday while PA and MI have a single satellite for each platform, that gets underway on Sunday evening.

In addition to the above, WSOP Main Event freerolls are taking place every month on WSOP.com. Depositing players who use the code WIN2024 will receive a ticket to a freeroll that plays out on February 29 - just make sure to have done this by February 27.

The winner will get their shot at playing in the biggest and most prestigious tournament of the poker calendar.

What Do We Know About the 2024 WSOP?

The 55th Annual WSOP will take place from May 28 to July 17, 2024. While the schedule of tournaments will be released sometime next week, officials have already confirmed that the 2024 WSOP $10,000 Main Event will run from July 3 to 17.

The Main Event is coming off a record-breaking year when Daniel Weinman topped a field of 10,043 players to win the Main Event for $12.1 million. It was the largest Main Event in the WSOP’s history, surpassing the field of 8,663 players Jamie Gold defeated back in 2006 to win a $12 million first-place prize.

Retaining its traditional $10,000 buy-in, players will have a choice of four starting days from the schedule presumably as follows: Day 1a-d from July 3-6, with late registration also remaining open on Day 2abc (Sunday, July 7, 2024) and Day 2d (Monday, July 8, 2024).
